I am wrapping up the canopy and one last thing on my "to do" list is to remove some slight scratches I made on the canopy around the edge where I slipped using 60 grit sandpaper. Anyone have any experience or idea on how to easily get the scratches out?
Thanks!

Easaily done, pick up a
micromesh kit.. It's a series of "sandpaper" finishes up to something like 6000 for deeper scratches and a small bottle of lquid that can be used to rub out smaller ones. IT works great.

To follow up on this post, I finally got around to removing the scratches I put into the canopy. Let's get to the good stuff with the before and after pics first:
Before:
After:
My process was pretty simple to get them out. I first attacked the area with 350 grit sandpaper, then worked myself up to 1500 grit sandpaper. Once that was down, I worked myself from the Novus polish 3, then 2, and finally 1. I am pretty happy with the results. I think it could be PERFECT if I put a little more time into it, but for now this is fine by me.
Once again, thanks to all that chimed in.

It's great to see that Mike, I have never seen a before and after that clearly shows what can be done on the canopy if it gets scratched.

Awesome! It just goes to show what a little patience and elbow grease can accomplish. It's these small accomplishments that make building as enjoyable as it is.
