Ok...So there I was, drowning my sorrows in my beer over the Badgers losing to Ohio State, the Packers losing to the Falcons, and the Brewers losing game 4 of the NLDS. Im sitting watching the Halos and the BoSox playing on TV and there he was....JIM PAPPAS AT THE PLATE!
No, wait....it was Mike Lowell of the Red Sox.
Anyone else think he looks like Pappas?? Got a moonlighting job there Jim?
BTW....sorry to hear about your Cubbies.....snicker.....
To make this RV-related, Flew for an hour today and the colors up here are gorgeous from the air. Best time of the year for flying IMHO.

OK, you figured it out.
But it's not the reason I have the RV.
It's why I have a babe like Cathy!

Spike you are going to have to ask Chad what that meant.
I tried but there are just too many things I could write and all of them could get me in trouble with Brit so he has to tell if he wants to.
All I'll say is he is D*** lucky.

Since I am not a baseball fan or someone who knows Jim Pappas, I am gonna have to say:

Poor guy, Cathy's taken.
Chad, I was talking about how you met Brit.
I wish I knew my bride as long as you have known yours.
Cathy wants to know when you guys are flying up?
Painless I'm hoping to take a xcountry up your way in the 6A in the next week or two.

I know...that's why I put a 'wink, wink' in there...

Brit is sitting right here...we are in Indy next weekend, then Charleston, IL the 18th, then Brit is in Wisconsin the 24th-27th, then we have a free weekend. We could see what's going on on the 19th, but that's only a day. Maybe the first weekend in November? Too bad it'll be too cold to get the boat out...

Gotcha
I didn't catch the winky wink the first time
If I leave the boat in we could try to chip it out of the ice by then but it'd be way more fun to play in the hangar with the nice RV6A.....
I'll check the dates in the morning and see if that works.

Sounds good...we may only be able to do a day trip right now anyway...if we board the boyz for the weekend, we can't pick 'em up until Monday, and Brit doesn't like doing that. We can make a long day without any problem though...

19th or the next weekend work for me. Weather permitting.
I understand about the boys. We have two now and Cathy doesn't like boarding them either.

Uh excuse me, there is an elephant in the room. So Chad, how did you meet Brit?

I was two...she was born...I stood by her baby walker when she was about three months old for our first picture together...22 years later, I married her! Friends our entire lives, we didn't date until our Senior years of college however, and were married a year after graduation...
That's the short version anyway.

While we're discussing wives, I guess this is as good a place as any to announce that I married this great little gal about 3-1/2 months ago. Second marriage for both of us. I consider myself a lucky man. She's terrific. Sweet as can be. She's excited about the RV and can't wait to go flying and traveling together. On an RV-related note, she has already helped me rivet the wing skins on. Here's a shot or two from our wedding day:
