Since this is supposed to be the end of the world, is anyone else pushing a bit harder to finish and at least get through phase 1 before doomsday? :o They're talking about the earth's magnetic field reversing and pretty much making GPS & any other electro-magnetic device useless. Maybe it's time to ditch the glass panel idea and go back to steam guages? :cry: I mean, after the way the earth ended at Y2K, is anyone else digging a bunker in their back yard? :wink:

Well, I hope it is more eventful than the last "doomsday" scare we had -- Y2K. Ended up being a whole lot of nothing on the actual day. We did a lot of work to prep old programs to continue to function, but we didn't see the massive armageddon-like outages with robots taking over the world like nostradamus, the Mayans, or even Al Gore predicted :wink:

Where are my boots??? It's getting deep in here.... :wink:

I'm thinking about making my bunker big enough to not just house, but FLY my RV in. I mean, if I've worked on it for THAT long, I don't want a pesky doomsday getting in the way of my flying. The support structure for the roof could even make a nice obstacle course to fly through. If you guys want to pitch in, maybe we could make it big enough for formation flights? :evil:

I was thinking about just drilling straight through the earth and pumping oil right out from underneath the Saudis 8)

:o That'll never work! The coriolis force of the earth's rotation will interact with the rotating steel drill bit and cause it to veer off course. You'll end up punching through into the Mediteranean Sea and you'll flood us all! Please stop the madness!
