If you are and can spare a seat I got one wounded pilot up here that could use a lift? Me.

Options are drive 10hrs, fly commercial or hitch a ride if possible.

I plan on being there just trying the least painful way.

Well after I finally kicked the Pneumonia again I got to see how they can remove an appendix thru three little holes in your belly button area.

1 week yesterday. Can't sit to drive for long now but hoping by then to be able to handle it.

Figure 2 hrs flying should be easier than 10 in my pickup

I REALLY want to visit Dana and see how Black Magic's coming along.

This freaks me out. I was just thinking of you today, as the spousal unit and I were just in McHenry visiting the inlaws. Was going to give you a call but time was getting short.

Let me get this straight. You had pneunomia again? As in this winter? What the heck! And now you can add laproscopic removal of your appendix to your resume?

You need a new hobby my friend.....

Hope you are feeling better soon Jim.

Yep, Pmonia followed by ejection of extra part thru three holes in the gut.

Feeling better, back to work in the morning.

Thanks for worrying.

After checking all my options it looks like I am going from Richmond, IL to Richmond, KY, wierd huh?

Mapquest came up with that along with about 7.5 hrs drive, commercial airlines can't get there from here so 1.5 to Ohare, 4.5 hrs to Lexington then drive 1hr south. Not a real option.

RV would take about 2.3 hrs. Crap wish I was airworthy :bang: No Spike, not leaking anymore but gut still hurts some.

I am still pretty sore so I will see what it looks like but I'm guessing I'll drive down Friday afternoon (might bring a copilot driver) stay at a local hotel then go to Dana's and drive home Sunday?
