Camping With Your Plane at Sun n Fun

I'm planning on taking the RV9A to Sun n Fun this year, but I'm not sure what day's I'll be going. Therefore, I thought it would be easier to set up a small tent beside the plane if possible, rather than try to make hotel and car rental plans.
I intend to park the plane in the display area
Just wondering if anyone reading this has done this.
Would appreciate any help on this.
Thanks
Jack

Wish I could help. On a side note, how does one get a ride in your bird? I need to get a feel for what it is I'm building.

Imagine an airplane with crisp response to the throttle, only takes a fingertip to move the stick in any direction, climbs like you wouldn't believe, and floats forever above the runway. That's what you're building.

Okay, maybe it only seems like it floats forever.

I'm not planning to be down you way in the near future, except for going to S n F. If time permits, I could stop somewhere near you on the way, otherwise, you're always welcome for a ride if you're near EWB (New Bedford Ma.). However, I have to warn you, with the 180 hp, and 3 blade MT prop, you will be spoiled !!!

I have a friend of mine with an 8A. I might con him into giving me a ride up there.

Just let us know. We'll be here except for April 21-26.
