It's ALIVE!

Post by smithhb »

Sunday was a momentous day as N16BL breathed fire for the first time on the ramp at Martin Campbell Field (1A3) in Copperhill, TN. She is an RV-9A boasting an ECI IO-360 with Airflow Performance fuel injection and dual electronic ignition (E&P-Mags) for at whopping 180hp. Emergency personnel were on hand but were not needed. First run was at low RPM to start the series of five ground runs. Mother and Father are beaming with pride.
