I could not see if he ever went through his "Engine Restart Procedure". Especially the part where you switch fuel tanks. Maybe the high wing plane he was flying used a header tank, I dunno.

That was my first thought too Dan, but if they had 8 to start, it burns 2.5 (obviously more during takeoff, but not 8 gal in a few minutes), it seems that wouldn't be the case.
