I wanted to introduce myself. My name is David and I am a student pilot with 15 hours in a Cessna 150

I have put the flight lessons on hold until the Sport Pilot rating is finalized (any-time now) and instructors become available as that is all I will need to fly the Aeronca while I work on the RV. The extra money saved will go into finishing the house and more RV parts

I'm really giddish....I got the Aeronca fired up in my garage today and it runs beautifully. I couldn't resist and took it up to 2000rpm (with the tail tied to my truck in the driveway) and tail came right off and swung right. She wants to fly. All I have to do is finish the right wing dope, paint, some odds and ends....and I'll be "up there".
Happy New Year.
p.s. I probably won't be much help on the site until I get some other projects finished and I start working on the RV.
