I finally got my tail wheel endorsement.

. Had a great instructor, Damian DelGaizo from Andover flight academy.
BTW anyone needing to get their endorsement Damian has a CubCrafters TOP CUB "Legend" with Alaska Bush Tires (Lots of fun) as well as a Piper J-3 Cub and he offers checkout in his Stearman (definitely going to do that) after you get the endorsement
Now if I could just find the time to finish my wings!!

HUGE congrats Craig!! That is awesome man! The TW endorsement is the most fun "rating" I have earned, and every time I'm able to get back in a TW airplane for currency, that excitement comes back!
Very cool!

Fun stuff!! Now a nice gusty crosswind and some pavement to keep you on your toes
Every time I get myself into a crappy crosswind in our C-180 I wonder what the heck I am doing!! Nothing like being in the air wishing you were on the ground

Thanks everyone

At the end of the last lesson Damian and I started on some short field work in the top cub which really kicked it up a notch. I am going to start his "bush" flying course in a few weeks when i get back from "vacation". Next week I am off to Alaska where real men fly airplanes to do the Susitna 100. This will be the 6th time i have attempted the race 2 finishes and 3 DNF (made it to the half way pint 2 of those times). Interesting side note. It is WAY easier to get into a cub after you loose 40 lbs.....

Craig,
Your location shows KFWN. I live about 2 miles from KFWN and am building an RV-8 as well. Getting close to complete. Send me a PM with your contact info.

hahahaha actually that really happened

in past years the race route took you very near a bar at the 90 mile point ..... a few people dropped out of the race at that point including the race organizer one year who said his feet hurt so what the heck
