yippee! Nice job Chad.
I almost guess 1056, but figured the camera added 10#, so I subtracted that and waalaa. I'll take my prize in ben franklins, thank you. (or consider us even with your most excellent paintshop skills)
I'm hoping I meet my goal of 1075#

Chad,
Let me know where your empty CG ended up... I bet with that light prop you will be similar to me..
Mine is a little on the tail heavy limiting the baggage I can carry!!!!
But wait...is your engine further fwd with your setup than stock? If so, that will help!

Chad's was 81.24" or something like that.
What was yours Brian? and how much does it limit your baggage?

Mine is 80.89" empty...so Chad is slightly aft of mine...I am a little lighter and have a metal fp prop on the nose.
I figured my worst case aft CG at reserve fuel level and two 170lb people and this limits my baggage to 77lbs....empty fuel would require even less.
With my fat butt figured in and with a normal passenger, I have to limit it more to be carefull once the fuel burns off!!
7's are just tail heavy without CS props!!!
It is my understanding that Van's numbers are conservative on the Aft CG limit. Explore this area carefully but I bet it can be safely further aft than what they recommend.
I know Jan and I were well behind the empty fuel aft CG range of the RV6 when we flew in Florida (over gross most of the time as well ) but the airplane handled it very well...
