GREAT NEWS!! Jim Pappas...

Post by cjensen »

...is out of surgery, they killed the tumor, and the Dr.'s feel they do have clean margins on what they took out!! It will be several days for actual biopsy results, but it looks good! He will be in the hospital for a couple of days, but I'm sure he will check in soon.

I just got the call from his mom, and she had great news to report to pass along!

Way to go Jim! See ya soon bro!!

All,

Got home to Mom's, right now pain meds wearing off, I'm doing to much.

Cancer gone, it was confirmed in lab as cancer.

6 weeks no lifting 2-3 weeks no exerting or exersise.

Daughter coming home in 2 weeks from Iraq. That trip is maybe, So's OSH but save me the seat :)

Thanks all going to rest now right now hurts pretty bad gotta figure out how they want me to take dressings off but may have to wait until tomorrow.

Special for all the positive stuff.

OK going to lay downnow.

As they say, a little better each day.

Still at Mom's for now.

Be nice to go home someday.

Thanks again for the support, where I am none of my friends can make it down and I havent seen Cathy since I left the hospital. Just Mom and me and my email buddies which I couldn't do without.

Be well all.

Jim,

I don't check in here all that often any more, but am sorry to hear of your health issue. Glad to hear that things are looking up though.

My wife and I will pray for your continued improvement.
