RivetBangers.com Building more than just RV's

Spike, where did this come from!?! I see it is new.

...like there is any other serious choice in kitplanes!

It went up about the same time that we added email digests (you saw that right?). That was about 2 weeks ago. And actually its not about other choices in aircraft. Its just meant to point out my desire to create a close knit community here.

I see.

Yes, I did notice that.

Tell me, what do you think about a shake up in the organization of the topic areas?

Maybe putting the Hangar up top, as it is frequently accessed by the membership.

Also, if you like... adding a topic area for "Other than RV's". Metal, plastic and Rag and Tube can all be organized into one for now, as it won't have much traffic to begin with.

Sure I can move the forums vertically. Thats easy enough to do. Is there any concensus on this?

Hmm, I guess I dont see the point if its not going to have much traffic. Care to expound any?

There's lots of "other" forums. I say stay homogenous. Be the all RV channel. All RV's, all day, all night. I admit it, I'm an RV junkie.

I agree that Rivetbangers is best left all-RV.

HERE HERE!

We're here because all of us are in one phase or another of building or buying a kit from Van's. Helping others and being able to get help in a focused environment like this is what it's all about!

I would hate to have to eventually go to the "RV Room" to get a question answered or share my daily screw up!

...just my $.02 worth!

I think the RV-4 forum should go at the top (in bold).....because it is by far the best looking plane in the fleet.

Spike, I guess what I meant is Rag and Toobers (and others) won't likely check in here too much. We don't have much of a contingency in that genre.
