Anyone build interior panels

So did you build your own interior panels? My wife and I getting ready to try it. She likes to quilt and has some spendy sewing machine, so I have recruited her to help me.
Any ideas or thoughts on what works, what's not to do or do differently?

because I haven't started yet. we have gathered material but no other progress.

I may cut some pieces this weekend, but my seamstress is in Vegas. so any edge binding or design stitching will have to wait.

she's worth it. putting up with me for 32yrs, she's earned anything she wants. now you see why i couldn't pay the DAR.
