With the downfall of RunwayFinder, I have been at a loss for a good online interactive charting site. Skyvector was OK, but I didn't like how you had to choose a particular chart to view - it wasn't fluid to go from chart to chart.

I found www.vfrmap.com to be a good immediate replacement for RunwayFinder. It has a lot of the same features, such as Google Map overlay. It doesn't have weather integrated into it, but it does show the AFD entry for each airport, which I thought was a nice touch.

Just though other RB'ers would like to know about it. It makes planning those future cross countries a lot easier from work!

Finally. Now if I could only do a flight plan on it.

I'm still pulling for runwayfinder.
