Congratulations,
mine could get me a beer at 1 1/2 out of the refrigerator and be able to tell the difference between diet coke and bud light.

He would climb on my motorcycle and watch me build for hours and want to help too.

You will have a good helper too.

take care,
Mike Balzer

You might as well oil up the shotgun right now, Spike. You'll need it to keep the boys away from this girl. She's a real beauty!

As of yesterday, I'm a new Grandpa! Again! Congratulations to you!!!

Thanks, everyone! Other than one really rough night (Friday), she's been a pretty low-maintenance little cutie.

She's already grounded until she's 21 for sending me to the hospital twice with pre-term labor.

Congratulations Patti! Glad you and Carrie are both doing so well. Our first child only had us awake three nights before she was one year old but she sure kept us awake a few nights as a teenager. Now she is the Mother of thjree teen age sons and it is our turn to laugh. Again congratulations and we hope for the best for your Family!

Here in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts, "brandishing" a firearm is frowned upon. So I just mention my Civil War-era saber collection when boyfriends come calling. Gives 'em the slightly-psycho-father-who-has-sharp-knives effect.

A friend suggested to me that a single unspent shotgun shell was all that was necessary.

Upon arrival of the daughter's date you hand him the shotgun shell and point how how beautiful, unused, and undefiled it was and that you expected both the shell and your daughter to come back in such condition.

Congrats,
I remember the day both of my daughters were born best days of my life. They are now 2 & 4.

I'll have to say I don't think you know the true meaning of love until you hold your first child.

Wishing you many nights of uninterrupted sleep.
