Fruity beer and rivet banging

Lemon beer!
Top skins are all prepped and dimpled and ready to rivet. Got baggage floor access panels fabricated today and floors riveted in. I realized that my seatbelt brackets are not installed, and I'm missing two of them! I'm going to need to order a couple and get them installed before I rivet in the aft seat pans.
I'm actually surprised at how quickly I'm running out of parts... I may need to go ahead and order the finish kit. Like, maybe this week!

Way to go Ian!
I have been making good progress lately on my finish kit and am running out of parts as well!
I will be ordering my engine around Halloween!
...should be a nice Christmas gift for myself!

Hey, leave Chad alone about the Summwr Shandy. It's an official Rivetangers certified beer. It passed field tests at OSH this year. Officially STC'd.

Yes,
The Shandy is probably one of the best beers you can get out there in OSH, but that isn't saying much!
Every year I am disenchanted with the lack of fine ales in that region.
Aside from the Fox River Brewery, you really CANNOT get a decent, hoppy, bitter India Pale Ale!
I really enjoy the Indian Pales and there isn't a single brewery that makes one on a marketable scale!!!
Anyone who has had a Harpoon IPA knows what I mean. Harpoon is truly the quintessential IPA.
Next year I will bring a case with me for everyone to sample.

If you want great IPA's, San Diego is your destination. Open invitation to anyone who gets out here and wants to go sample the local brews -- Stone Brewing is my fav.

Sweetwater IPA here in Atlanta is pretty spectacular... But Summer Shandy really is an awesome refreshing sweaty airplane building kinda beer.

Bruce, Stone is awesome!
Their Arrogant Bastard Ale suits me to a "T"! hahaha
I am always up for trying a Sweetwater!
MAYBE... next year at OSH we should specify one night for Hometown Ale sampling!?!
Hmmmmm?
We could meet at somebody's camper, have a few and yuck it up a bit one night?

Outstanding idea CJ! I'd be all in for that. We should keep that idea on the burner for next year.

Can't argue with you there......
Trouble is, I'm starting to think brats, chips, cheese curds...... So much for easy.....
After all, you can't have a beer in one hand and not have a brat in the other when you're in Wisconsin d'air hey..

I have yet to sample a hot cheese curd.
All the times I have been to OSH, people hve told me to go to the cheese haus and have a hot curd... and how they squeak in your teeth (so they tell me).
Maybe that should be on the list too!?!

Oshkosh 2012 is on my to do list. This year got derailed due to my wife getting a total knee replacement.
Hometown beer bash? I'm in!
Unlikely that I'll be flying by then
