I've been hanging around RB for almost seven years now, and I think today is the first time I've eve clicked on the 72 hour posts and got nothing!!
I'm hoping that this just means that we are all enjoying our families over the holidays or busy working away in the shop.
I'm in the recliner watching the Packers game (as I'm sure Jeff and Eric are doing as well), Brit and the dogs are napping...
Anyway, welcome 2012, and keep the projects going!

I think its the holidays. Patti and I were in FL for 9 days, then Christmas, and then New Years all in the past 3 weeks and with a child. It always gets slow around here this time of year.
I might even post a project photo in the next few days

Well ok then. Here's another project. My friend, Mike picked this RV-4 project up from an Estate sale. Just now getting around to doing something with it. So I have been recruited to help.
The original builder was an A&P, did good work but poor documentation. He died unexpectedly and tragically. Mike was a close family friend and got a good deal but part of the deal was he would get it flying. So here we go, hope to get her flying by this summer. I'll start a post in RV-4 section one of these days.
BTW... is anyone else able to log on using FireFox. I can't and always have to use IE to get here.

Cool project update Brian! Looking forward to seeing this one come together.
I just recently switched to Chrome, but I've used Firefox exclusively for over five years, never a problem. Safari on the iPad and iPhone, no issue there either.

Sorry but I feel partly to blame. I have been up north to my house in Maine and haven't done any plane stuff or web surfing.
My engine arrives soon so there will be some pics coming soon!

I got back at it today and riveted up the subpanel in the -9A. Ready to start pulling wires!
Holidays are really busy with family, travel, parties, etc. Got a little vacation in out at the desert and played with the bikes and ATV's. My son broke the swingarm on one of our quads, so that took all day yesterday to take apart. Perfect weather out in SoCal this last week. Can't wait to get flying - maybe in 2013?

HAPPY NEW YEAR RB'S! We drove to Fargo on 12/31/11 for New Year's Eve celebration with a couple we started celebrating New Year's Eve with in 1971. The weather was lousy driving up rain and snow mixed all the way. They were preducting 40 Mph winds with gusts to 60 Mph so I was very happy to be driving.

The weather coming back today was gret and with Sunnt skys and a Tail wind. Would have ben great to be flying! Again Happy New Year and get your projects completed this Year

I was thinking it had been awfully quite in here too as I was working on my right fuel tank tonight. Nuttin but fun there! Happy to report both tanks are now sealed up. I have a little clean up to do before I bring them in to the basement for several days before I test them. Hope everyone has a Great 2012.
