We could leave it right there in Van Nuys, put a bed and fridge in there and use it when we fly out to the left coast!

I have 2 port a ports here in KPYM and they are AWESOME!!!

Hmmmmmm, this could be so cool!

 Obviously you are not yet of the mature generation :P My generation would not worry about the refrigerator but someplace legal to dispose of what is imbeded from the refrigerator 8) Moving that any distance would be a costly affair. About three years ago I was looking for one to move near here but couldn't find one. At the time we figured if you got one for $3000 it could easily cost another $3000 or more to move it only 150 miles. There are two of them at the airport where I keep my airplane and they could be a real good deal if you didn't have to move it. :bang:

Oh Bob... nononononoNO! You don't get it...

We LEAVE IT THERE and use it when we are in LA!!! It is a little home away from home! Much less costly than owning a house there!

...and I am not a spring chicken. My favorite flight instructor who was 85 years old ten years ago once told me, "John, you need to decide whether or not you want to grow up or learn how to fly because you cannot do both"!

I will always remember that and his other pearls of wisdom. Each time after we would land he would say, "Once again skill and cunning have triumphed over fear and superstition".

Harold was the MAN!

...and yes, an incinolet would be nice in the hangar too!

Yes I understood that the plan was to leave it in Van Nuys, however I just wanted to share my research on moving Pota-A-Port. My bride would probably want a few more accrutments. We just spent a week in LA and although she isn't real fussy I don't think I could convince her to spend a night or money on a Port-A-Port. 8) Good luck on finding some other partners. :)

Hahahaha...

Well I just questioned my girlfriend and it seems that she wouldn't camp out in a port-a-port either!

Some of my best memories are of sleeping in my port-a-port and getting up early and going flying. Looks like those days are now behind me now!

I was just in google earth and couldn't seem to find it there.

Hmmmmm, I guess I will have to let this one slip by the wayside.
