Nobody told me about this!!!

So, it just occurred to me that when you get to this stage of the game and the whole thing starts to become one, big piece... you now go to bed, wake up and walk around on a daily basis with a totally scalable, 3D, X-Ray view, entirely DYNAMIC RV-7 Model IN YOUR HEAD!!!

:smash:

I feel like Johnny Mnemonic!!! Someone get this plane out of my head!

Hahahaha

Yes, toward the end my wife was convinced I was possessed by some spirit.

It happens to us all!

Hopefully you don't need to think about anything else, because you will be thinking about it full time until it gets airborne :)

Lance, nawwww... I got nuttin else to really think about. I hear ya, not enough bandwidth for anything else!

Soon summer will be here, school will be out and I will be haulin' ass!

I have some plans for the summer. I WON'T miss OSH. I WILL visit my house in Maine a couple of times anyways. Aside from that, it will be building, building, building the plane!

Jeff, I am getting the systems together now. The engine is hung. I have sensors on order. Tail is almost on for good. I have plans to set wing incidence and sweep during April vacation. I want to do all the wingtip stuff at that time too. That means navs, strobes, archer antenna and landing lights.

After that stuff is done I will order the G3X stuff. I guess that will be sometime this winter?

It is all coming together now! There is no way I could have done this AN the divorce all at the same time. The divorce was a major setback but I had a great time doing it! hahaha

I am soooo looking forward to the next couple of years! Right now I am shooting for 2014 summer. I think that is a conservative guesstimate.

Oh do not rush with the build, aim at 2024. We will wear your summer house then go to Alaska. :)

Hey CJ,

Do you still want the drilling jig for the map box? I'm all finished with mine now! Let me know, ok?

WOW! Things are really moving along now!

The engine is all hung and I ordered the prop from Van yesterday. I was really shocked to hear that there really is no wait for a Hartzell right now. I will likely have it in my hot little hands in about a couple of weeks!

Vlad, I am not sure when we will be in Maine but I will keep you posted! Maybe I will have an RV Fly-in up there again!?!

Bruce, YES! I still need the jig! Please send it along!

I plan on rigging up flaps, ailerons and setting wing incidence this April. At that time I will do the wingtips and lights. Canopy is all done and I am doing the baffles now.

Avionics sensors are on their way!

Hmmmm, might have to bump up the completion date at this rate!

I sent you a PM, CJ, asking for your shipping address. I'll get this DJ sent out to you. I'm happy to see it go to another builder and get used again. :)
