The answer...is in this thread! Not saying we won't build another RV, just on hold for now. I have a 6A to fly any time, and I want something I can fly out of my back yard.
One of my best friends is building a Highlander. AWESOME airplane!! I'd be interested in something like that if I didn't already have most of a C-90 sitting in my garage.
Hmmmm, C-90... yah... better engine than the Rotax and the Jab...
I never said I LIKED riding mopeds! The Piper Sport was available and I flew it! It's not like I bought it! I just wanted to see what the whole Rotax engine thing was all about and it had one in it... Kinda weird if you ask me.
Mebbe a C-90 in the Just!?! Anyone done that yet???

Garmin G3X with VP-X & a TMX-IO-360 with G3i
It's all over but the flying! 800+ hours in only 3 years!
The highlander is most definitely a nifty airplane. You should hurry up and tell us what you are thinking as you are due for changing your mind again. We want to know what the current flavour of the week is before you forget it.

Current Build: 2 years into a beautiful little girl
I told ya already...it's back on page one I think. But, I'll spill the beans again. Wag Aero Sport Trainer (Cuby). Plans are on the bench, just waiting to get some freakin time to start on the rib jig! Gotta go to this silly thing in Reno tonight.
Already had the plans for the Cuby. The RV-9 was really wishful thinking. I have no time to do any traveling in one. No need to drop another $70-80k on a 9 when a 6 is available pretty much any time. We have a Cuby too, but I want to be building something, and I might as well build something that suites my flying best. Brittne LOVES the Cuby too and she is totally cool with this one. She wasn't cool with the Tailwind...
I built a tailwind away back in 1966 through 1972 what I got out of it was an education, A&P, comercial pilot license, and a fantastic performing air craft that I built with my own two hands. if ugly looks are speed, the tail wind has it all over most home builts. I bui;lt an RV4 in 1987 through1990 Both aircraft are performers at 5.45 lbs per HP
I built a Witman tailwind 1972
i built a RV4 1991
I bought a RV4 2012
