The hanger almost a gear up landing

I earned my keep yesterday. I was holding short for runway 9. I heard a twin call out base for landing runway9. As he was flying final, he looked odd, strange, not right. As he crossed the fence I could see that his gear was not down. I called out . Twin.-Gear Down! Gear Down! Gear Down! he said. Thank you Sir! and made a go around
