Are the wings on for good? I would keep them off while you do all of the engine and final fuselage work. Much easier to work around the airframe without walking around them endlessly.

Looking Good

Get the Canopy done and then you should be ready to start on the engine & firewall forward. Be sure to install your shoulder harness cables before you rivet the aft skins on the fuselage. Also don't install the boot cowl before you get all your engine connections made. I would also strongly recommend that you get your instrument panel completed before riveting on the boot cowl. It gets a lot harder once the boot cowl is in place

No, they'll come back off. I'm doing wingtips/lights/antennas etc, fuel tank plumbing, flap rigging/flap rod cutouts, etc. All the wing tasks that need to be done, and then we're pulling the wings back off, alodining and priming them, and storing them.

Canopy is done but for the fiberglass fairing strip. Shoulder harness cables are in. Most of the panel work is done, but I have more to do. Engine will be getting hung within a month hopefully! Prop will be here within a month
