Hi Tom!

Sounds like quite a machine you are assembling!

I will be flying soon. Perhaps I will run down to Florida and say hello soon!?!

Welcome to the forum!

Hi Tom,

Welcome to Rivetbangers! You're going to have a very fast RV-8 with that Lycon 250 HP angle valve engine! I can't wait to hear performance reports when you get flying.

Do you know what Lycon does to get that HP out of the IO-360? High compression pistons I assume..... but what else? :? :?

Welcome to RB's Tom. Look forward to seeing pictures after the paint job. Are you doing the paint yourself?

The Ly-Con engine has 10:0 pistons that are ceramic coated , the cylinders are brand new Lycoming Angle Valve with long reach plugs that have been flowed and ported . Really looking forward to flying behind it .
I am painting it myself , I have some painting experience , mostly it is attention to detail and cleanliness .I have a 10x20 pressurized temporary paint booth set up in my warehouse . The wings and fuselage are on rolling rotisseries .
How do I post photos off an iPad or iPhone ?

Tom,

To post photos on the web, you will need to be able to host them somewhere. PhotoBucket is a pretty popular place, they'll give you some free space for uploading photos as well as the ability to link to them. Rivetbangers.com also offers a free photo gallery to people who are members as well.
