Oh my God that was so funny. Rocky probably made a perfect landing in the pine tree.

Well... I had come to think of rivetbangers.com as a pretty cool place to hang out. But when the mistreatment of animals becomes a joke, it's time for me to move on.
Best of luck to everyone on their project, and goodbye rivetbangers.

I am sorry to hear that you feel that way Ben as I believe that rivetbangers is a pretty cool pace to hang out and will continue to be so in the future. It is made up of a good group of people who are here to help each other build and enjoy RV type aircraft while advancing the community and passion of homebuilts. To that end I believe we are doing a very good job.

As for the viewing the mistreatment of animals as being a joke, I cant say that I (or anyone else here) have stated that they think animal cruelty is a joke. What I do think though is that people (including myself) found the video clip humerous, for what it was, which was a video clip on the internet, which, in reality may not even be real.

You have been a good contributer here and are welcome back at any time Ben. If you do choose to leave may the building go well and have a safe flight.

Blue skies & the best of luck.

Spike, very diplomatically spoken!

As the author of the post, I was going to write something similar. I wanted to wait until you posted something of a reply first, being your site and all...

Ben, I too am sorry you must leave. I dare say that I speak for the entire RB community when I say that. Do what you must do. Nice knowing ya.
