Interesting pictures

Post by captain_john »

Hey All,

I recently took this picture and even though it isn't a personal best, I am still running pretty good. 168 Knots true and 209 over the ground.

Post up some of your favorite pictures here. Not necessarily panel/performance ones. Anything that is different or unusual that wouldn't ordinarily fit into a thread and might interest others would be cool.

P.S. Mikey, the location of the picture in the gallery isn't the same as the one that gets linked in the thread??? Can you create a line in the gallery for the web addy of the picture so I and others can display them?

right click the image, select 'open image'; then take the image URL from your browser address bar.

Tom, I thought that I did just that. Not sure where that other address came from? Spike had the URL displayed right beneath the image in the gallery so copying it was easy. Mike, could you do that same thing?

Anyways, here is our favorite Russian in Moscow, Maine from last summer!

The issue we have here is Gallery is no longer supported. I am working on a project that will make sharing RV photos easy for all. Give me a few weeks and I'll allow the RB crowd to give it a test drive. Bear with me a little, and I promise good things!

Whoah there Hoss!

Can you give me a copy of all of mine before you make any changes or deletions?

A zip file would be fine.

I just realized that many of those are my only copies of certain parts of my build!

CJ,

Don't worry - I am not deleting anything that is already in the Gallery. Too many of the threads on this board rely on the pics we have hosted here at RB. What will most likely happen is a new site will go up, and the old Gallery will just be in "read-only" mode.

Hey Mike,

Hopefully that includes the pics that CJ posted of his avionics installation - I'd really like to be able to reference them!

On Saturday we have some good winds aloft!

Image

However, they were gusty and unpredictable. The max ground speed I was able to get up to was 201 kts
Image

And as slow as 26.1 kts.

Oh, I got my ADS-B traffic and weather finally working!

Mikey,

This is the thread that Thermos is talking about.

Is there any fixing it?

Lots of dead images?
