Yes, it has been too quiet here lately. We had a nice Thanksgiving Day. Drove our Chevy Bolt EV up to LA and back from San Diego. GM advertises at 238 mile range and this trip is 116 miles each way. Made it up and back with 20-25 miles left of range. We did plug it in up there briefly, but the 110V charge cord is terribly slow to charge the battery. A couple of hours and only 8 miles more range! Nice to know we can get up there and back if we have to.

I would love to have an electric airplane. Who's going to have the first Van's EV-RV?

Today my son and I took the RV-9A down to Calexico and did our Black Friday shopping at the outlet mall across the street from the airport. Got some great deals, then we buzzed back home over the local desert and checked out our usual ATV riding and camping areas. The desert at Thanksgiving is too crazy out there. No wind and LOTS of dust in the air. Oh, and it was pushing 90 degrees out there. Time for leftovers and some more pumpkin pie.
