RV-7 and RV-8 wing root fairings

I am looking for a RV-8 to model wing root fairings on. It will need to sit in our hangar for a week or two and will get the first set out of the molds. They would be ready in time for Sun-n-Fun. I am also looking for a RV-7a to test fit our RV-7 wing root fairing on and see what needs changed for the step.
We already mfg Team Rockets fiberglass and we are located about 50 miles east of Austin TX. Jimmy Cox 512-446-6117

Welcome to the group Jimmy. Who are you? I assume you are trying to market fairings to the RV community? Are you a builder? A little background on you would be nice since you are soliciting our membership for assistance.

I am a wannabe builder. I fly a 1968 Cardinal and I am working on some speed mods for it also. STC's are a pain. I do Team Rockets production fiberglass and new fiberglass design and I really enjoy it. I am also working on a wing tip for RV's designed by Reg Finch. The wind tunnel tests show a lot of promise, but until we flight test it on a RV we won't know how good it is. I will be happy to answer any fiberglass questions and I have some other RV fairings that I might pass out for testing. I can be reached at jcox@extremecomposites.com

Also the Cardinal flies like a Cessna should-i.e. sportier and you can see better out of it too. Plus the wide and low slung doors are handy for the less able people. I know a guy who built a Glasair and his knees went bad (it is excrutiating for him to climb into the thing now) so he bought a 1968 Cardinal. He put the 180 horse engine with three blade constant speed prop on it. I'm still kicking myself in the butt for not getting that 150 horse engine out of it.

Once in a great while I get to fly it. It's nice.

I would be really interested to see the wingtip and fairing designs too.

I have rudder cable and rudder horn front and rear fairings that I have been playing with. The rear half is what makes fairings slick.
