Sun 'N Fun

Post by Spike »

Ok boys and girls, I have folded. Some of my local EAA'ers have been leaning on
me about SNF and I have folded. Well, its not like I didn't really want to go
anyway  I just booked my flight today and will be there from Thursday
through Saturday.

Anyone else going? Lets get together!!

SNF

Will be there Thurs through Sunday. Where do you think we can all meet. Make a predetermined time/place like the RV tent @ some particular time of the day.

On second thought, it's useless to go to SNF without one. I second the motion for him to buy another one.

That would be too easy.

Poeboy's wife is flying down to meet them tonight. So I'm leaving work around 10am and driving down to Silver Spring to give her the camera. Can anyone say LONG LUNCH? :o

How could the two of you (of all people) not make sure the camera was first priority out the door?

I would forget to put on my clothes before I forgot my camera.

It would have been my number one priority (you know, being a pro photographer and all), but I didn't go to Sun 'n Fun, I'm at home. :lmao:

I left the house for work before Spike did yesterday. I found the camera on the bookcase when I got home, in the spot where he leaves his keys every night. I presume that he picked up his keys but didn't grab the camera. When I talked to him last night about it, he said he couldn't find it in his carryon and assumed that he had packed it in his checked luggage.

In any case, the camera is in the hands of Poeboy's wife now and should find its way to Spike when they pick her up at the airport this evening.

And the answer is: NOT quickbuild. He didn't want to drop the extra $4k for it.

He must have wanted to save that money so he could buy you something nice. I am curious to see what kind of estimated delivery date he gets on them. Ordered my slow build 8 wings mid March and are due to ship 23 May. Hey just think, Spike is going to have all kinds of extra time to spend with you while he's waiting for the wings to arrive.
