CH701 upgraded nose gear

last week I stopped for fuel in Sullivan MO and they came over to make sure the fuel system was working well. good airport! I stopped by their hangar to see what they were working on. it was a CH701. the story goes that he was making an approach with crosswind with an upwind barn and trees and the channel of wind caught him, picked him up and then slammed him down. the CH701 has a new beefed up nose gear. the other guy was sanding longEZ wings for the 20th time and was covered in dust. I didn't take any photos of that. it was nice for me to out and about, good weather.
