https://securedragon.net/ has been a great hosting platform. $3.99/mo for unlimited bandwidth and 500GB of storage. Their tech support is extremely responsive and quick to fix all little issues.

why should you have to pay dues in order to simply communicate with other RV builders?

$3.99/month - get it right! And I use the same server to host rvplane.com, tailnum.com and a couple other personal projects....
I think the only other expense is the domain names (rivetbangers.com/net) at a whopping $25.04/year for both.
I do this to keep the information alive. When Spike stopped building he didn't want the information in the forums to be lost. So I attempt to keep it alive and accessible. Glad you like it here.

ah man, that's great! thanks to you for keeping Spikes info available. it is a such a nice clean site with great photo capabilities.
