aircraft position in hangar - straight and centered

Post by A2022 »

am I the only one who likes the aircraft positioned precisely in the hangar?

cooler flying today with a nice crosswind. I used all the available rudder. I think my oil temp made it to 154F. all that crap being driven out by the dehydrator. with the multi-viscosity oils, I don't believe low temp oil is a problem if you are able to remove the moisture from the engine afterwards. if I remember correctly, Lycoming low oil temp limit = 147F but I need the check that. but hey, I am still flying with short pants. :)

I think these guys and gals also like to position their aircraft precisely.... I think I will try walking like that to my aircraft. if you are going to imitate someone, why not the best?

This seemingly simple task is, in fact, a crucial aspect of aviation safety and maintenance. Ensuring that aircraft are aligned correctly not only optimizes space but also reduces the risk of accidents and allows for efficient maintenance and inspection. A well-organized hangar is a reflection of professionalism and safety within the aviation industry.
