willful aircraft damage

Post by A2022 »

about a year ago I suffered what I believe is willful aircraft damage to my end fairings on the same day. most likely by a Trumpster squeezing them, all left side. hey, I know my aircraft. we have not been able to pinpoint the perp from the security cameras. he might have mentioned something to someone, if you know the perp, send me a note and get 75% off from RVPlasticParts. he needs to be behind bars. consider it a bounty. I will always be hunting this guy. it's probably time for a ground proximity camera.

willfully damaging an aircraft is a felony and goes along with attempted murder. I am not sure if he was after me, my wife, my daughter, or someone else that would be riding with me.

a couple of these on the glare shield pointed in each direction may give 8 hrs of video. say you stop for lunch, just click them ON. if the perp is wearing a mask and a hoodie it probably will not work but airport security may be able to identify a license plate with another camera.

if you are parked for a week or so on the ramp, add this to the tail to motion detect and video for both day and night. I'll make a mount for it. need to determine how best to get it up there. they are inexpensive. if they try to steal the motion camera, another secret camera will capture that.

Jabara, Clemens Aviation, said they would have security watching my aircraft. apparently, this guy was interested in my fuselage mounted side cameras. trail cam battery life is about 2/3, so probably good for 5-6 days. captured 267 photos. no problems with Clemens Aviation in Wichita, good FBO, very secure, go there. some of the linemen get around on One Wheels there. I demonstrated the 3D printed rotating nosewheel chock to them and they liked it. One Wheels and 3D printed parts, a crazy world. :) the most important thing to do is to ask the FBO when you arrive if it is OK to have the aircraft camera's rolling when you are on their ramp.
