PEI sheet to carbon fiber floor mats
these carbon fiber floor mats are the best thing I ever did to eliminate heel fatigue on long trips. the original blue backing was wearing so I placed a sheet of PEI plastic on them. PEI is ultra tough. I am convinced it will last the life of the airplane. the nice thing about carbon fiber is that it doesn't deform and take a plastic set like the aluminum mats did. the heel rests between the dual lock strips to give some space and make it spring. the heel gets a nice soft spring ride.
