My Saturday 4/30/05

Here's what I spent my ENTIRE day doing after our Chapter breakfast today.

This is my garage/shop that my father and I are completely remodeling to prepare for my project. The ceiling drywall came down today, and the walls came off a couple of weeks ago. New drywall may go up next weekend, we'll see how busy we get during the week!

Here's another shot.

Messy, but now clean and de-nailed (they used nails to put it up, so we had to pull every single last one of them)! Good day, I'm gonna sleep good tonite!!

WOW!

Looking good! Get some wires in those walls before you rock it! You will be happy later!

Let's see... bench receptacles, compressor feed, smoke detector, task lighting over cutting/grinding area and general lighting. I used 8' high output flourescents.

A network connection and CATV are good choices too.

Hurry up! Need to get the plane in there next!!!

Yeah! No kidding! I made a HUGE mess! It is starting to come together and take the shape of a shop.

I plan on wiring the walls before rockin' it. I already have bench receptacles ready to install, I need to buy a new smoke detector (THANKS FOR REMINDING ME!!), I have a 4' high output flourescent to hang-to be joined my MORE lights, I love a well lit area, and CATV will be run!

I am tyring to get this done ASAP, but other duties call frequently.
