Bob Leffler - Flew West 2/8

I saw this posted yesterday on Bob's Facebook page....
When he wasn’t in the air, he was busy upgrading and fine-tuning his beloved RV-10, always finding a new project for the winter months. I’ll always remember Bob for his engaging posts, our meetups at Oshkosh, and of course, the many Prime Ribs we shared at the Black Otter.
He will be greatly missed.
It's a somber day at RivetBangers, as we say goodbye to one of our longtime members, Bob Leffler, who flew west yesterday. Bob was a deeply valued part of our community and a generous contributor over the years. He was likely the most frequent flyer among us—nearly every weekend, he’d share stories of flying his RV-10 to breakfasts across the Midwest with family and friends.With a heavy heart, I would like you all to know that Bob passed away peacefully earlier this morning after his battle with Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia. We are fortunate that he fought long enough to give all of his immediate family a chance to say goodbye.
A visitation will be held on the morning of March 14th, time TBD, at Surprise Funeral Care in Surprise AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cerebral Palsy Research Network in Bob’s name.
