Seatback latch?

Post by A2022 »

Sometimes when pulling a bike over the seat, the seatbacks pull forward slightly, allowing the seatbelts to move behind them. I've had enough of that, so I made a seatback latch using 3M Dual Lock. Initial tests were promising, and I'll be testing one side to see if this approach is sufficient. It met the criteria: easy, cheap, and lightweight. It will rarely need to disengage, but primarily just hold the seatback in place.
