Oshkosh dinner plans...

Post by Spike »

Dinner reservations for 15 have been made for the Prime Quarter Steakhouse for 5PM on Wednesday the 27th. Since its a large group they request a single check and will add gratuity. I figure we are big boys and can handle it.

There are regular shuttles that run between Osh and Appleton and this should present no problems as far as getting up there. I think there is a small fee for the trip. I have an outstanding call regarding return transportation for the group and will let you know as soon as something is setup.

The list as I have it is:

CJ
Wicked Stick
Scott
Loosenut
Lossenut .jr
Jim
Jim's Wife
Thermos
Thermos' wife
Poeboy (I decided for you David :D)
Spike

Am I missing anyone else? Let me know if you are intending to make it.

DINNER UPDATE:

Post by Spike »

DINNER UPDATE:

Ok Gentleman (and Ladies), we have an update regarding Dinner. I just talked to the transportation company and worked on the schedule. It is looking like Dinner will be early on Wednesday. The plan is to ride the shuttle up from Osh departing at 3PM, reservations at 4PM, and then ride the last shuttle back at 6PM. That should get us back in plenty of time for that evening's program in the woods which is Mike Fossett talking about his around the world flight. I have to talk to the restaraunt regarding this before it is set in stone as they are entertaining the idea of opening early for us. Less than a week to go!!

Dinner is Confirmed

Post by Spike »

Ok, Dinner plans have been confirmed!! The restaurant will be opening early for us. We will be taking the shuttle up to Appleton from the Osh grounds at 3PM. It will then pick us up at the Prime Quarter at 6 - 6:15 and bring us back to the grounds. Everything is all set and scheduled. The food there is excellent and I imagine that the company will be better. Don't forget to bring yer appetite, thirst, stories, and money for the dinner & bus fair. We should be getting back in plenty of time to hear Steve Fossett speak if you are interested.

I have the attendance as follows:

CJ + 2 Guests
Wicked Stick
Thermos
Mrs. Thermos
Scott + 6 Guests
JimRobinette
Mrs. JimRobinette
Poeboy
Spike

The restaurant has asked that we have at least 15 to justify them opening up early. It looks like right now we have definately met that. Feel free to invite others, just let me know. If your not on the list and should be, speak up, and if you are but wont be making it please let me know also.

Thanx guys and I'm looking forward to it!!

Looks like 15 won't be a problem. I just solicited another attendee.

Ed L. is coming along. He is a -6 builder and MAY be starting up a completion center here at KPYM!
