I remember when they changed the Wings Channel to the Military Channel and said that they still would have a plane on it from time to time. Well I feel ripped off. The Military Channel SUCKS!

Sorry, I just had to vent. Well anyways, I found this on www.avweb.com and things are looking up! It sounds like good programming! We need more of that.

i agree about the militay channel. i cancelled that cable pack after that...it does SUCK!

the new show 'wings to adventure' is really pretty good! i've seen every episode so far (had to buy another cable pack to get it though ), and i have to say, it's good. not as good as abc's 'wonderful world of flying' back in the day, but it's informative and entertaining. i taped this weeks episode, but haven't seen it yet. i'll be watching it tonite though! i hear this weeks has a segment on a mooney-one of my fav's for certy'd aeroplanes.

I have never flown a Mooney, although I would like to. There was one on leaseback here, but it left before I got my signoff.

I haven't seen this new show yet. I need to see what channel number this Outdoor channel is around here!

fly a mooney as soon as you get a chance! i am a little guy at 5'10" and 175, so they are nice and comfortable for me, but i have a friend who has one who stands about 6'5" and thin, but probably 225 or so, and he loves it! they are great flying airplanes, very solid with the push/pull tubes, just like our RV's! reasonably fast, and the landing stories are just that-stories or hanger talk. they can float in the flare, but just watch the speed, and i think they are easier to land than any cessna or piper.

ok, enough mooney talk.

I just found the channel. Don'tchaknow... I gotta buy it too!

Damn them! I am gonna drop everything but Basic Sattelite , Internet and now the Outdoor Channel if I can!
