Pelican's Perch

Post by captain_john »

I dunno if any of you guys read www.avweb.com , but I really get a kick out of John Deakin, a.k.a. the Pelican.

He really sheds light on proper engine operation and dispells many myths about aviation, all the while backing it up with data and good solid reasoning!

Check out his articles at:

Lemme know whatcha think!

I was able to spend some time with John at Osh a few years ago. What a great guy. Hes very knowledgable and friendly. I too love reading his articles. I want to go to one of his engine seminars one of these years. I love reading his articles on driving the old birds with the big round engines :)
