What is an RV kit worth?

Ahhh! Time. What do you gentlemen think a RV-4 kit is worth now days. Wings complete, empenage complete, fuselage in jig (no skins on yet)? Finish kit has yet to be purchased. How many hours do you think it will take to get it flying from here? I have a line on a nice Pitts and it's making me think hard.

Figure you aren't at the 90% done, 90% to go yet. Depending on how much time you have to work, it took me a year and a half from your stage to slipping the surlies. Depending on the quality of construction, you should be able to get $15K for it at a minimum. You might even get more parting it out as subkits...good luck!

Thanks for the input, it kind of gives me a benchmark. I'll have to see how things play out. It might just be a passing fascination with this bright red and white Pitts.
