The Dog House

Post by Ron »

Well with all the drilling, riveting, and constant compresor noise, I guess I didnt realize how much it can wear a person down,or how many aluminum filings I may or may not have tracked around the house today, but She popped like a cork on New Years Eve! Dont let this happen to you, or you may be next in the doghouse.
Maybe a nice dinner tonight will calm her down.

Sorry to hear that Ron! Is she involved with the construction process at all? Just wondering, 'cuz I'll be dealing with the same thing in my little world. I am trying to talk it up as much as I can to get her involved with the process. So far, so good...she wants to help! I am going to put cable TV and a chair in the shop for her to spend time with me whether she is helping or not, and she likes that idea!

Hope things get better! Dinner is a great start!

:)

I bet her "friend" is over!

Good luck, Ron! Don't bother silencing that compressor, it'll be something else another day! Just go out to dinner and enjoy the meal!

It's all good now, she was having a bad day and I was being a slob. Di is the best, she even came out and helped me with her seatback. Scratch another chore off the list. Both seats are now finished and she is happy again. What a wild ride!

Glad to hear it! Seems like we have things in common! My wife Diane, pulls the same stuff on me! I don't know how, but it always settles.

The detached work space really helps. I get to watch MY TV programming and it is like a little vacation for me and the dog when we go out to the garage!

Spike, how are those shop plans coming along?

I've got a call in for quotes on what I am looking to build. I have plenty of time as we won't even settle on the house until after Oshkosh. Right now I am making a big push to get the tail finished up before we move. I just have to do the metal work on the left elevator/trim tab and then I will have a massive priming and riveting party.
