Post by Wicked Stick »

Anyone using or trying out this panel planning software ?
I see they reduced the price from $100 down to $30.00.

I downloaded it and used it a while back. It's okay. I found that it lacked a lot of the latest instruments. And some manufacturers weren't in their database but overall it's a pretty good product.

Yeah, I've noticed that it is missing a lot of the newer stuff.
But, I found you can create your own images and specs and plug them in.

The print out each unit to size feature is nice to layout a mockup on the actual panel.

Now if it only offered a way to save a cad file with accuracy for water jetting, that would be perfect.

That is one of their strong points is you being able to add your own images and instruments to the database. I also like how it keeps track of how much current each device is going to draw.

It also allows you to adjust the pricing and keep track of how much you spent on your panel... :o I didn't think I was spending that much, but when I added it all up... :o
