Sunday, March 16 we are planning a visit to see Wicked Stick's RV-8 project in the late fuselage stage. He has his panel mostly assembled and is getting ready to do the canopy assembly and hang his engine!

You New York guys can fly into KEWB and park over at Sandpiper Air. Dave is the chief cook and bottlewasher there, so your planes will be secure there. We can see about picking you guys up there if you want to join us.

Dave can distribute information for those who are driving.

See ya there!

:) CJ

Thanks CJ,

That's right, I plan on being at EWB (Sunday March 16th) to pickup any arrivals by air from 8:30 to 9:30. At 9:30 we jump in the car and head back to Marion for the project visit. At 14:00 I will return to EWB and drop off those who arrived by air.

For those driving and need directions, please e-mail me at davidrgr@comcast.net and I will send you directions to the house.

If I could get a rough head count, that would be a great help to the wifey in preparing a morning spread for all. Later on about 12:30 we'll order up a couple of loaded pizza's for CJ

Dave:

Thanks for offering the ride. I will be flying in to EWB, weather permitting, at about 9.

See you then.

I'll be there. Weather's not looking all that great though, will you be driving or flying IFR if it's a vfr wash ?

Dave, Many thanks

Thanks Dave for inviting us all over to view your 8 Project. Looks like you're doing a great job, and enjoying it.
For those of you that missed it, we were welcomed with coffee, donuts, and a wide assortment of pastry.
The long discussions and talk among the RVers worked up a fresh appetite, so by the time the pizzas arrived we were ready for them, and were able to continue our talking between bites..
Once againg, great job Dave, and look forward to seeing your ship in the air this year.

Thank you Jack !
and thanks to all who attended.

I really enjoyed having you all there and talking "shop".

Now it's time for me to get back to building...
Looking forward to the other upcoming project visits.

Do we have a list of who's and when for the next few months ?

Yes Dave,

That you!

I am up next!

Noah said that he had already seen the hangar and would like to see the shop.

Mebbe it will be at the house this time?

Who is up for seeing the bat cave?

Hmmmm, I haven't looked at the schedule yet. I am thinking a Sunday between 10 and 2 like your visit.

I will make coffee and get some muffins and bagelage. For lunch, some chili and burgers maybe?

Perhaps the 20th will work. My PDA is in the garage. I will check it later and post up a new thread.
