A quick WX-BRIEF question
So I've always used 1(800)WXBRIEF as one of my primary wx sources. On my cell phone, it always routes me to RDU, which is where I'm from. But that's not very useful when I'm in a different state. Is there a way to use 1(800)WXBRIEF and make it refer you to a local briefer?

Yeah, thats about it chad. However, the first thing the automated thing asks is what state you want. It doesn't really matter. The person you will talk to is no longer local to anything. I used to be able to talk to a briefer in Green Bay (20 miles from the runway I was about to take off on) that knew the WI weather paterns by heart. No longer. Sorry for the rant but in my opinion: this sucks.
Of course it will be even better in a few years: we will all be getting our briefings from some joker in India.
