Hopefully we will have nice we will have nice weather!

Mike B., Bret.. Point that ship north and come up! It is a longer haul for Chad, Brian(s) and others... but give it a try if you can!

It is planned to start at 11 and run until whenever.

CJ,

If the weather works out, I very well may be able to come up!

Whats the preferred route to take around NYC? Go north, go south or go right over? Obviously weather has a lot to do with it, but just wondering what people typically do.

AWESOME!!!

I usually just go over.

So many people complain about NYC controllers but I have never had a problem. Boston is like a mini NYC so I suppose being weaned on BOS lingo prepped me well for NYC???

I dunno...

Anyways, if you cannot go over (unlikely) I would go either east of or through Class Bravo.

Long Island is an easy way to navigate and if you file... even easier!

Hope you can make it!!!

Sounds like a good time. But I'll be in Washington racing on Saturday the 18th, so it would be a stretch to get to the other coast in time for burgers. maybe I should check the tailwind situation.

Hey Brian,
As long as you're headed THIS direction, Saturday the 18th is the NW RV Fly-in and Barbeque here in Scappoose! Any chance you might come down? If it fits in with your racing, it would be great to have you.

Bruce, I'll see. Right now work is really cramping my style. Montana has record snowpack and I'm a hydroslave....but overtime money now makes good AVgas money for later.

Hey All,

Just a reminder about our Meet up here at H5 in Plymouth, MA.

Looks like tomorrow will be severe clear! Come on up if you can make it!

Also please join the group so that you will be informed of future meetups!

I am thinking of having another Meet up this summer at my other house in Maine.

Check out the airport (8B0). Rangeley Steve Bean Municipal airport is 1/2 a mile from my house. I can run up the street to get you when you fly in.

I plan on being up there for at least a few weeks surrounding the fourth of July holiday.

It is a nice community. I think you would enjoy a visit there!

Just got home from Wenatchee. Had to dodge some very low ceiling, mountain obs, icing and major course deviations but we got home anyway. No way I'm leaving the nest now.

Hope you have a great fathers day!
