OSH Beer Tasting on Monday night

Post by captain_john »

Hey All,

Let's do the beer sampling on Monday night!

I will be bringing a case or two of Boston's finest Harpoon I.P.A. for all to sample.

Who else is in?

Painless, do you have any ideas?

Fellow Rivetbangers:

After consultation with my esteemed colleague, CJ, here is my suggestion for the beer tasting party.

One cannot drink beer in Wisconsin without having a brat to go along with it.

It's the law.

Therefore, I propose we have this inaugural event at my campsite, where I will be serving my world famous brats simmered in beer and onions. The perfect precursor to a 32+oz slab of meat at the Otter Wednesday night.

I'll have a defibrillator on site. :o

All you need to do is bring a six of your favorite brew. I'll have a couple coolers ready with ice. I camp at the same spot every year, on 45th street, about 100' from Limbergh Ave. It's real close to the red barn store. We'll work out ways for you to find it easy. You're on your own to make it home tho!

I'll ask for a headcount just before OSH to get an idea of how many folks are coming.

Nothing like enjoying the three "B's" at OSH.....

Beer, brats and BS!

put me down as a maybe for Monday.

Looks like Kris is thinking of coming with. Also an old Submarine buddy who I haven't seen since 1986 is thinking of coming up from Streamwood IL for a few days.

SO my time might not be MY time.

120 men go down, and 6 months later 60 couples come up.

heard plenty of submariner jokes...about 99% can't be repeated on here.

there are two kinds of vessels in the Navy.....submarines and targets
or
what's long and black and full of seamen...a submarine of course.

Sooooo we are nearing the date. Who else is going to bring something?

What is on the card!?! The doctor and I don't want to be the only ones there. Wyatt wants to go and he has been practicing:

He doesn't drink that cheap stuff either...
