Otter 2012 and beer tasting

Post by painless »

Fellow Rivetbangers:

The time has come to get serious about this year's Otter get together on Wednesday the 25th, as well as the proposed beer tasting event on Monday the 23rd.

I would like to get a rough number of those planning to attend either, or both events by Friday, the 20th.

Remember, the beer event requires you to bring your favorite beer and will be held at my campsite, with brats and other goodies being served. We will have to work out a time that works for those that plan to make it. My campsite is very close to the fly market as well as the Red Barn store. I will provide directions once we nail down the particulars.

The Otter is an annual Rivetbanger event not to be missed. We usually plan for cocktails at 6:00 with dinner around 7:00-ish.

If you would like to add your name to either event list, Just respond to this thread and I will keep track of who speaks up.

Hope to see you there!

as much as it saddens me to say this.....I won't make the Otter on Wednesday. But we may wander over on Monday for the RB's B&B gathering.

Now Chad, I am bringing Harpoon. A PREMIUM, non-fruity India Pale Ale.

What are you going to offer? I know that there are some pretty slim pickins up there (hence the reason I am bringing Harpoon this distance) in KOSHtown.

Will your offering contain fruit?

Some were waiting to see this photo taken at the dinner. Another Otter guest ordered the Supreme (160 oz) prior to our leaving. Perhaps this will spark a fire in someone to give this a try next year.
