  1. They do not take reservations, but we can reserve Prime Ribs ahead of time. Everyone pre-ordering a prime rib dinner will get their guaranteed cut and cooked the way they like it.
  2. In order to reserve the prime ribs ahead of time, they need a credit card (I have no issue using mine). However, we will be accountable to eat what we pre-order.
  3. In my 5+ times I have gone to the Otter, they have not run out. The only incident I encountered was when they accidentally overcooked their prime rib and the rarest they offered was medium-well :bang:
  4. If people want to go the pre-order route, let me know what you want BY 6/19 (Tuesday) and I will get things in order.
    1. Queen Cut 1 bone (approximately 32oz)...........................28.95
    2. King Cut 2 bones (approximately 72oz)..............................37.95
    3. Our Super Cut 3 bones (approximately 116+ oz.).......Market Price
Please indicate what cut you want, and how you want it done.
Thought I would provide the Otter menu link to help those that are attending decide if they want the prime rib. Like Mike said, I too have never seen them run out, but with a group our size plus the locals, it could happen. Just didn't want anyone to miss out on the experience. the staff member I talked to suggested this procedure. I did this for RB's once before when we had a large group. If anyone is on the fence about it, give the Otter a call, the number Is on the upper right of the menu in blue.

Personal RB secretary?? Man, am I going to have a long week at Airventure. My arm is going to get sore pouring Bullock all those beers!

What's a convenient place for everyone to meat <pun intended> for our trip to The Black Otter? I'm thinking 5pm around the SOS brothers tent - it should be easy for people giving rides to meet up there? I'm open to suggestions.

That's a good meetup spot...but we may not make it to the Otter in that case! The only downside to meeting there is getting out of the grounds because of traffic flow. May not be too bad at that time though since the airshow will go until 6 or so and it is night airshow day.

I say earlier... 4:00 or 4:30.

Isn't it like a 45 minute ride up there?

Every time we get there we have to wait to be seated.

...not that I am opposed to having a few beforehand, but I can drink for cheaper at the campsite!

OK, 4:30 is the hard departure time. Everyone plan to be at the rendezvous location at 4:00 - 4:15 so we can figure out what car everyone is going in.

Chad - You seem to be the expert on Oshkosh...where do you recommend everyone meeting up so it is both easy for the drivers to get there, and for us homely campers to walk to?

I don't know where the SOS brothers tent is. The time to meet is fine but I'll need some directions to find the meeting spot.

The vehicle Steve Brown is driving (which currently has one open seat) will be leaving via the south camping exit. I don't want to be anywhere near the north exits or SOS at the end of the day when the airshow is over.

I can make arrangements to pick up or meet whomever needs the seat earlier in the week. I just need to know when to meet at the Otter.

I'll be camping in HBC or drop me an email. bob-thelefflers-com

Sorry, was off grid for the weekend after I dropped my phone in a lake. :bang: :bang: :bang:

I can't do 4:30 since I have to be in the booth until 5, so if anyone is riding with me and wants a later departure time, let me know.

Best place to meet would be over by the west end of HB camping I think, entrance to the orange lot. Scholler campers will (or should) have cars or rides to get there and HB campers can walk there. I think we can stop temporarily there to pick up. Airshow doesn't end until 6, so traffic at 4:30 shouldn't be bad.

Last call for orders for the Black Otter. I'll give them a call this evening with the final count of preorders.

Non Drivers - let's meet at the west end of HBC at 4pm. That's where the bathrooms, showers and large tent is.

Drivers - Let us know where to meet you. I'll figure out who's going in which car. Text me your phone number and I'll coordinate everything.

All - my cell is 443 two two zero fifty-three 0 five.
