I am 1060 hrs on this Anti-Splat nose wheel tire/bearing mod. I said I would take it to 1200 hrs and that's what I am doing. keeping the pressure at 50 psi. it drops 10 psi each 6 months, but I service it. keeping the nose wheel bracket greased improves tire life, .... I think. I cleaned a bunch of grim from the inner wheel pant and fork. the cheap white vinyl tape works well as a tow bar protector, any residue washes off easily with adhesive remover spray. I cleaned the nose wheel fork and completed a full inspection. note: I only land on hard surface runways, per my insurance agreement.
