tip-up canopy tape

Post by A2022 »

refurbished my canopy tape. I use one strip of pipe teflon tape at the hinge line and 2-inch 3M vinyl tape over the top. extends 1/2 inch beyond the canopy hinges to keep the rain out as my canopy to fwd deck interface is a slight forward-facing step. 3M tape seems to last longer than other brands. I normally go about a year with this before it needs to refurbished. takes about 15 minutes. cost = 50 cents.

as first applied

then raised

then lowered
